Cute kids but nothing special when it comes to writing.

Surprise your mind, break out into laughter, and read your favorites out loud to your spouse.Forty years ago, a teacher friend of mine gave me a pile of papers from her third graders. They were all full of priceless gems like you see in this book. Cleanliness is next to ... impossible. It's always darkest before ... Santa comes. It's never too late to ... go to McDonald's. There are delightful surprises on every page! Five stars!
BytemanProofreader “Johnny Will”, April 2, 2015. Amazon.com
Fun kids sayings. This was a fun book. Made me laugh. Little strange when the pictures were on another page from the finish.

Priceless Proverbs is a very quick read with proverbs finished by children. It reminded me of a school project at the elementary level that was fun to do.

Really nice book to have. Five Stars!

So fun!I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in having a good wholesome laugh. I ended up reading the whole thing out loud to my boyfriend.

Priceless and Then Some If you've ever been around kids, you've probably found yourself laughing over the things that come out of their mouths. Kristi Porter's book Priceless Proverbs Book 2 captures some of that innocent wisdom and keeps readers laughing from beginning to end. Children finish famous proverbs and sayings, and their words are coupled with illustrations that capture the unique ways they process the world. This book will make you want to interview the kid closest to you for even more "Priceless Proverbs."
Amy M-J, Amazon.com. March 4, 2015
It's o.k. but not as good as I thought it would be.

Cute! Very cute sayings from children. Reminded me of a few things my own sweet littles have said in the past.

A laugh is always good! Really cute material and I had some good laughs. My complaint was the set-up of the book on Kindle. Some of the proverbs were on one page and the picture was on the following page. You may actually see the picture drawn for one proverb at the top of the next page over the top of a different proverb. It made it a little perplexing. It was also too short; I am glad I didn't pay much for it. I would not recommend anyone spend money for it.
Sherril, - February 17, 2015 / Kindle Edition / Amazon.com
This book was great! I smiled throughout and all I can say is...."children SO tell it like it is"!!!! As an educator, this would be a great activity. Looking forward to the next collection.
Heidi G. Carson - February 13, 2015 / Kindle edition / Amazon.com
I couldn’t stop laughing! Kids say the funniest things! I liked that the author included the actual quotes.
Wendy Chaplin - February 13, 2015 / Kindle Edition/ Amazon.com
[Italian to English translation:] Book cute. Suitable for reading a little challenging, but enjoyable. Take a group of children from three to twelve years and let them complete a proverb or a famous judgment after they were presented only the first part. What you will get is surprising answers: some will be for their wisdom, others for their obvious simplicity, others for fun that arouse. Equipped with children's drawings, this ebook is really cute and I recommend reading it to anyone.
Baylee - February 11, 2015 / Kindle edition/ Amazon. It (Italy) /Goodreads.com
Adorable little book. A new twist on old sayings. Five Stars!
Linda and Mike Webb - February 9, 2015 /Kindle Edition / Amazon.com
Kids say the strangest things. Sounds like this could be the core for a television show. Suppose Art Linkletter could host it, or is he dead? Like Mr. Linkletter's show, the humor is uneven, and not always very funny.
Steve Thomas (Fort Wayne, IN) - February 9, 2015 / Kindle Edition/Amazon.com
This small book was an utter delight! Each reworked "old saying" has been revised by a child, many under the age of six. Each is also accompanied by a representative piece of the child's artwork. It rather reminded me of Art Linkletter's "Kids Say The Darndest Things." Pure joy.
Kris Bauer - February 8, 2015 / Kindle Edition /Amazon.com
Love it! Kid quotes are a always amazing. I shared this book with family and friends, we all had a good laugh, and while some were funnier than others, we enjoyed all these quotes. If you need a good moment in your day, take a moment and read this book.
Dawn Peterson - February 6, 2015 /Kindle Edition / Amazon.com
Priceless Proverbs 2 was a most enjoyable read, but far to short...the children's endings were witty and innocent as only a child's answers can be! Delightful for children lovers everywhere!
Virginia LaFlamme-Zurowskion - February 4, 2015 /Kindle Edition /Amazon.com
SHORT, BUT GOOD! 3 to 6 year olds ARE always funny when you ask for their opinion. It took me about 15 minutes to read, but that is a lot of laughs and smiles.
LEAH PARKER - February 1, 2015 /Kindle Edition / Amazon.com
Made me smile! I read this book with my 5 year old son and really enjoyed it. He thought the children's answers to the proverbs were "very funny and confusing" LOL. He also enjoyed to drawings. What I enjoyed about this book was reading it with him and his reaction to the answers and seeing how he would have finished the proverbs.

Kids say the darnedest things! This is a clever collection of words and art created by children of today! Honest and raw, you will wonder why Shakespeare and Franklin didn't think of these things! A+ to each of them!
Lisa H. Schultz (New Orleans)- January 29, 2015 /Kindle Edition/ Amazon.com
Very funny book, best read on a tablet or mobile phone so you can appreciate the children’s drawings as well. I tried to read this on short bus journey but had to put it away for later cos I was getting some very strange looks from the other passengers. The fact I was wiping tears from my eyes didn’t help either. Short but funny. Wickedly funny.
cruise queen - 29 Jan. 2015 / Kindle Edition / Amazon.co.uk
Simply funny. You do not even need to have your own kids to finds this book laugh out loud funny. If you do have kids you will actually understand it at a deeper level and probably will not simply laugh out loud but laugh so hard that your neighbors will call 911. Five stars.
Michael R. Henson (Marblehead Ma) - January 29, 2015 /Kindle Edition/Amazon.com
Funny. Enjoyed the quotes from kids. It never ceases to amaze me what comes from the mind of children, usually lessons we would all do well to heed. My five year old granddaughter teaches me all the time; I'm not sure who teaches who the most.
Kindle Customer - January 29, 2015 / Kindle Edition / Amazon.com
Here is a collection of funny minced proverbs. Apparently the kids were presented with the first part of a famous saying, like "If you can't stand the heat...." Then the child would finish the saying. They are really rather funny. A very nice and light distraction from the busy life. Funny and clean. A nice treat. Five Stars.
John Thornton January 28, 2015 / Kindle Edition / Amazon.com
I found Priceless Proverbs 2 both hysterical and highly relatable. Sayings that have become so clichéd to we adults, take on a new twist as they are filtered through the innocent minds of children. I will never be able to hear (or use) these expressions without recalling some of the responses contained in Priceless Proverbs. The book was especially relatable to me being that my wife has been an elementary school teacher for decades. She would often recall a statement made by one of her 5th grade students as well as those made by students in the lower grades. (Anyone who has had children, we've had 4, could hear these written words coming out of their own children's mouths when they were youngsters.) Priceless Proverbs 2 is a quick and humorous read. I'd highly recommend you purchase this Five Star book.

This will make you smile as you read. Out of the mouths of babes! Though some are repeated, the drawings are cute.

I was smiling throughout the entire book. Kids do say the darnedest things. I was often wondering what my words might have been, had I been asked to complete some of the proverbs. A good book to share with children.
Jerry W. Mattson January 26, 2015 / Format: Paperback / Amazon.com
Children tell the truth, and I laughed throughout the book. No hiding behind weird proverbs, children tell it as it is. Could not have asked for better way to enjoy a Sunday morning. Five stars.
"ms. Kahiu" (GA) January 25, 2015 / Format: Kindle Edition / Amazon.com
I love this book, as well as Ms. Porter's other book Never under estimate the power of naked. Think Art Linkletter meets Aesop’s fable in a book that contains glimpses into our world that only the innocence of children can give. The kids provide funny finishes to well know proverbs, each saying paired with whimsical color crayon picture. Both funny and philosophical, I bought one for myself and one as a gift for grandchildren.
